What is home staging?

Real Estate Home Staging is the process of professionally preparing homes for sale, creating inviting and appealing interiors that appeal to a wide variety of buyers. Home Staging can include interior decorating, interior design and/or interior redesign. During this process, a seller's home is also edited and organized to give it a "model home" appearance.

When selling in a buyer’s market, you have two options;

1. Adjust your price downward
   Price your home below that of your competition for the same amenities, size, etc. or
   
   
2. Make your home “Show Ready”
   To do this, you need to have a home with the right atmosphere and looks. There is nothing more important when it comes to selling your home, than to have one which has a strong emotional appeal to buyers. Properly staging your home will create this emotional appeal; otherwise you will need to lower your price.
